Search for specific sites and status.

Each Monitoring Point

The points tab will show all available areas for the selected site, along with a quick view of alarm statuses for each area.

If the site has only one area, you'll see the zone dashboard for that area.

Once you pick an area, you'll be shown the zone dashboard.

In this view, each point will have an alarm status indicator and the last point reading.

You can filter this view by both zone names and point names.

When you select a point, you'll see a mobile-friendly graph with 24 hours of data.

By default, this shows the last 24 hours, but you can choose a date to see 24 hours of data from that date.

Duo Communicating Meter Settings Index

The Duo Settings Index provides a comprehensive overview of all available device interaction options, tailored to each user's access level.

The Duo is your monitoring workhorse, serving as the bridge between your sensors and your AWS-powered SoniCloud monitoring platform.

Access to these options is secured by a unique device key that SoniCloud uses to verify user authorization. The security of your data is essential, and SoniCloud as well as our hardware devices come standard with multiple layers of security.

Available options may vary depending on the device and the user’s permissions.

When you see the heartbeat icon, clicking it will bring up a popup in the top right corner with valuable diagnostic information.

For non-Sonicu users or when a device hasn’t been onboarded to SoniCloud, a prompt will guide them to the Implementation Wizard to get started.

The Device Implementation Wizard is a powerful extension of the SoniCloud Implementation Wizard, tailored specifically for individual devices.

This feature guides users step-by-step through the process of setting up a new device, from physical installation to final configuration. Finely tuned with feedback from hundreds of users, we've organized a system simple enough for an intern to follow and detailed enough to establish a secure and reliable connection between hardware and software.

Physical Installation Assistance: Upload installation pictures directly to SoniCloud for easy reference.
Connectivity Check: Ensure your device is properly connected before moving forward.

Device Profile Templates

Device Profile templates provide an easy way to manage configurations consistently across multiple devices.

Templates can be created for Duos and Displays on SoniCloud and deployed to devices via the app.

We make it easy to complete a task once, and scale it across your organization's monitoring system.

Any updates to the device are synced to SoniCloud to show a history of configurations for a given device in the Device Portal on SoniCloud.

This interface even highlights the changes to be applied.

Signal Strength Scan

Our Signal Strength Validation Tool allows you to accurately measure the signal strength for all available access points.

Ideal for validating or troubleshooting the signal strength of a device at any given location.

It collects the signal data directly from the Duo device itself, ensuring precise and relevant readings.

Manual Data Sync

The Manual Data Sync feature adds an extra layer of data protection within SoniCloud, ensuring no critical information is lost.

Here’s how it works: SoniCloud will scan for any missing data points over a selected time period (up to 30 days ago).

If gaps are found, you’ll have the option to search the device for the relevant reading files and upload them directly to SoniCloud.

Once uploaded, these files are integrated into your SoniCloud instance, helping to recover any data that may have been missed by the device's automatic back-filling process.

Firmware Updater

The Firmware Updater allows you to seamlessly download the latest firmware from SoniCloud and update your Duo device.

While over-the-air (OTA) updates remain the preferred method, this updater offers a reliable alternative for situations where OTA isn’t available, such as with 900 MHz or cellular devices.

Device Portal

Shows a history of configuration changes via the app.

It shows template changes as well as changes to individual settings made on the app.

Device files can also be found on the device portal.
